Katie Price opens up about her dramatic weight loss after sparking concern from fans
Katie Price has been plagued for months with well-meaning concern from fans after showing off her dramatic weight loss.
Katie Price has addressed her major weight loss after fans inundated her with messages of concern about her much more slender frame. The former glamour model quickly shut down any speculation of any ill-health and insisted that her toned look is comparable to that of her glory days when she posed as glamour model Jordan.
The 46-year-old sported a laidback athleisure look with a brown headband and a bright orange hoodie as she issued a direct statement via Snapchat. Teasing the topic of discussion, Katie captioned the video: “My weight loss and what it's done to my body.” In her usual direct fashion, the mum-of-five didn’t sugarcoat the message as she said how the worries of fans, some of whom branded her “unwell”, had been “driving me mad.”
In the clip, Katie curtly admitted: “Yes, I’ve lost weight. Yes, that’s what I’ve wanted to do, I’ve wanted to lose weight.
“Because the past three, four years ago, when I broke my feet and I was in a wheelchair for 10 months because they said I’d never walk again, and obviously, you put weight on being in a wheelchair.”
She continued: “And then I did all the IVF stuff, that also puts on weight. So yeah, I did put on weight and I hated it, I felt uncomfortable, and it wasn’t me. Everyone is talking about it - it’s driving me mad.”
Speaking of her new lifestyle, Katie insisted: “I'm healthy and I do eat. If you look at old, old pictures of me in the Jordan days, I was always skinny. But today where I have lost weight, I feel, my butt looks like a deflated balloon.”
This comes after the reality star sparked even more concern after recently sharing photos of her shrinking frame with the addition of plasters on her bottom as she revealed that doctors had injected her with 50 needles of filler.
During the procedure, which she live-streamed, Katie said: “I’m having it done now, filler put in as we speak.
“Two surgeons so it’s quicker because I’d rather have it both done at the same time. Teamwork makes the dream work.”
